The Globe, Old Alresford, Hampshire
A long-time favourite of mine. The pub is excellent, and the beer garden opens onto Old Alresford Pond. I spent just under an hour over a beer and a sandwich, whilst looking at the mass of birds and ducks on the pond.

The Old Fire Station, New Alresford
With suitably bright red doors, this was the town's fire station from 1881 until 1940 - Alresford has suffered a series of devastating fires through its history. The building is now owned by Alresford Town Trust and occupied by a picture framing business. The modern fire station can be seen here: Image
