Clarendon Way crosses St Cross Road
As you come out by The Bell, you have to cross the busy St Cross road to Mead Road. It's easier of you use the pedestrian crossing with lights, just beyond the fish and chip shop (they do very good fish and chips, by the way!) Cripstead Lane
The lane ends at its eastern end with this footbridge, which leads to a footpath parallel to the River Itchen. The water seen here is a drain which may eventually flow into the river near St Cross Hospital.
