Carved stone post by the B3420, in parish of WINCHESTER (WINCHESTER District), Andover Road, Barton Farm; 25m North of Park Road junction, on grass verge near transformer, on East side of road. Flat top pillar, erected by the Andover & Winchester, Andover District turnpike trust in the 19th century.

Winchester - another sewer ventilation pipe?
Almost camouflaged by the trees at the top of the railway embankment, there's another one of these pipes. Situated on the western side of the railway, 1km north of Winchester station.
