Old Romsey Road bridge replacement works
Drone photo. The works on the southeast side of the M27, after the southern side of the bridge had been demolished, leaving a single carriageway controlled by traffic lights on the Romsey Road. Visible are excavations of the foundations of the old bridge, possibly in preparation for building foundations for the new one.

Old Romsey Road bridge replacement works
Drone photo. By this time the southern half of the old bridge had been demolished, leaving a single carriageway under traffic light control. Works currently going on seem to involve exposing the foundations of the demolished half of the old bridge, presumably preparatory to making foundations for the new one.
