Romsey East Neighbourhood
Romsey East is made up of four large villages.
North Baddesley, Nursling & Rownhams, Chilworth and Valley Park.
The beat is covered by the Romsey Neighbourhood Policing team, assisted by special constables who are passionate about reducing crime and ASB, protecting vulnerable people and targeting those who commit crime. You can influence local priorities by attending a beat surgery or public meeting, by email or calling 101.
They are mainly residential areas, but have local amenities enjoyed by local residents. These include grocery shops, hairdressers, doctors surgeries, dentists and village halls.
In Valley Park there is a large recreation ground, Knightwood Leisure centre offers services to the local community. The recreation ground is popular with children young and old, dog walkers and local people out to enjoy the area.
Chilworth is described as an affluent area and has easy access to Southampton and the M3. This area is purely residential with only 1 pub a village hall, Chilworth Science Park and a Hotel.
