Carved stone post with missing attachment on the A3057 road in the City of Southampton; Romsey Road, Maybush, 50m South of junction with Rownhams Road, hidden in hedgerow behind palings. Erected by the Whiteparish, Romsey & Southampton Turnpike Trust; probably C19.

Bus stop on Romsey Road
The bus stop is on the east side of Romsey Road just south of the junction with Rownhams Road and is for services heading into Southampton city centre. The people catching the number 8A here are Geograph contributors heading home from a conference at the nearby Ordnance Survey offices.
