Wyndham Court
1960s housing scheme designed for Southampton City Council by Lyons Israel Ellis, inaugurated 1969. The design won an Architectural Design Project Award in 1966, and the development represents among the best of housing scheme design of the period. The development was awarded Grade II Listing in 1998. The concrete appears to have been cleaned since this 2010 view http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1715673 , which together with the sunshine shows the building in an altogether different light.

Blechynden Terrace Gardens, Southampton
These gardens, close to Southampton Central station, occupy the site of the former Emperia Buildings, home of mineral drinks company Idris & Co Ltd, which was bombed out in the Second World War.
