2016 Good Beer Guide-listed pub on Onslow Road, at the corner of Rockstone Lane. Internally, Brewer's Tudor style, with central horseshoe bar, drinking and eating areas left, front and right. Background music, garden and seven cask ales on offer at my visit, with a large keg and spirit list. http://therockstone.co.uk/

The Rockstone, Onslow Road, Southampton
The coat of arms on this pub is rather odd, showing a pig on a knife and fork, and 'Exsisto praeclarus ut invicem' - a rather socialist message. The non-functional water trough with drinking fountain is grade II listed.
