Holyrood Church, Southampton
Mostly destroyed during the raids in the 1940s, the tower is preserved as a monument to the merchant seaman who have lost their lives at sea.

Holyrood Church clock tower
This is a shot of the clock tower of Holyrood Church in Southampton city centre, at the corner of Bernard Street and High Street. The church itself was bombed during the Blitz in 1940, and was subsequently restored (but not rebuilt). The clock remains functional, and in this picture the time is approximately 11:16 am.

Located on High Street, just outside the ruins of Holy Rood church, which is a memorial to those killed during the Second World War in or from Southampton.

Former National Provincial Bank building
Built 1869 to the design of John Gibson, chief architect to the National Provincial Bank, in an ornate Italianate style. The bank merged into the National Westminster Bank. Currently a restaurant at ground floor level, with flat over. Listed Grade II*.
