Pound Tree Road from Hoglands Park

Bus on Pound Tree Road, Southampton
First Southampton 34259, a Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties Palatine new to London Central, lurks outside Houndwell Park between duties. In an attempt to address the large number of elderly double deckers in its fleet, First had recently acquired a significant number of secondhand midlife Olympians, hence this former Go Ahead group bus being part of its Southampton fleet. Hoglands Park is in the background, on the other side of Palmerston Road.
