Sign for the Horseshoe
A simple visual sign, made more significant by the long-standing belief that a horseshoe brings luck. Originally it was said to be a protection against witches. Horseshoes are still nailed up by the superstitious (Lord Nelson was one). They must have their two ends pointing upwards, or the luck will 'run out'.
