Top of the Beckhampton Bourne
This is a seasonal stream that only flows here when groundwater levels are very high after a wet winter. It is flowing very strongly this year. There is no channel as such and the water finds its own way through the fields. It is being held back here by the farm track and has formed this pond before flowing over the track and off again.
