Railtour near Collins Lane Crossing, Purton
With ex-LNER B1 4-6-0 steam locomotive No. 61306 Mayflower at its head, class 47 diesel No. D1924 brings up the rear of the return leg of the Cotswold Explorer at Collins Lane Crossing near Purton, between Kemble and Swindon; the tour's destination had been Worcester.

Level crossing, Collins Lane, Purton, Wiltshire (1)
The railway (to Gloucester in this direction) is closed for the moment as it is to be widened to include a second line. The line should re-open for traffic by September 2013 whilst the project should be completed by Easter 2014.
