Chippenham Station looking towards Bath
This picture shows station with the old station footbridge with stepped access between platforms and to the car park in the middle ground. In the distance is the new covered footbridge between Union Road and Station Hill which incorporates lifts for disabled access between platforms. It is higher than the tubular/girder bridge it replaced to allow for overhead electrification. See Image] for view with former footbridge.

Footbridge over Chippenham railway station
This bridge gives pedestrians a short cut from Station Hill and Cocklebury Road on this side,
to Old Road and Union Road on the far (north) side of the station.
The station has its own footbridge for access between platforms.
