This picture shows station with the old station footbridge with stepped access between platforms and to the car park in the middle ground. In the distance is the new covered footbridge between Union Road and Station Hill which incorporates lifts for disabled access between platforms. It is higher than the tubular/girder bridge it replaced to allow for overhead electrification. See Image] for view with former footbridge.
