Pond at Avil's Farm
Bridleway SSTQ7, or at least the track the passer-by seems expected to follow, passes between the farm buildings and this pond, overlooked by a weeping willow and an ash.

Approaching Avil's farm
Bridleway SSTQ7 runs alongside a hedge towards a small plantation of young trees masking farm buildings. The line of the right of way passes between the farm buildings, but, whether officially or unofficially, you are somehow guided right round the outside of the farm.

Poultry sheds
At my last visit, this was the site of a thriving free-range chicken farm. The fields adjacent to the sheds were populated by noisy hens. Today, there was no poultry in evidence.
