Rachel Fowler Centre, Melksham
Set back from Spa Road in Chapel Court, Market Place. Now a community centre established in 1980, the building had been a Congregational Church, later a United Reformed Church. Named after Miss Rachel Fowler, a church benefactor, the centre is administered by volunteers. The main hall and Sunday School rooms are available for hire.

Melksham United Church
Set back from the east side of High Street, opposite Lloyds Bank. Melksham United Church (as a group of worshippers) was formed c1980 when Melksham Methodist Church and Melksham United Reformed Church (URC) combined. The former URC building is now the Rachel Fowler Centre. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4235181
The building was originally a Methodist church (1872). Its distinctive frontage has Corinthian columns beneath a large pediment, with Italianate decorations carved round the door. The building was Grade II listed in 1985.
