2012 : South west from the road to Etchilhampton
Had a problem finding the view direction here, probably Sleight Farm on the hill right of centre, then found the old cement works chimney at Westbury Image in the far distance - you will need the larger version of this image to see it. It is a little to the right of Sleight Farm (now confirmed). Potterne is in the valley behind the wood on the other side of the farm.

2012 : Minor road passing the bottom of Etchilhampton Hill
The A342 is a few hundred yards away at the bottom of the hill. A slightly hazy view ahead Image joins to the left, the disused cement works chimney at Westbury is near the left hand edge, is better seen in the larger version.
