Diamond Jubilee Wood [1]
Between Rowde village and the Kennet and Avon Canal a large area has been recently planted as woodland. The view is looking towards Caen Hill and the flight of locks on the canal is behind the trees on the right edge of the image.

Fallen tree, Kennet and Avon Canal
In the sideways enlargement of the pound between locks 28 and 29. It is well out of the way of the navigation channel, so the only people affected are those occupying 'The Paddocks' beyond. It spoils the view, on the other hand they may prefer the slightly greater privacy.
