Southgate Inn, Devizes
This pub on the Potterne Road just south of the town centre is cosy and welcoming. Walls and ceilings are festooned with hops; there is a wide choice of seating, and a skittle alley at the back. The pub is listed in the 2009 Good Beer Guide. On sale at my visit were Hop Back Downton Glory & Quadhop, and Itchen Valley American Liberty.
