The name is fading
Next door to the former veterinary's is this sign in similar style. Presumably it is part of the former vet's and the name might appear to be Hussey & Gr...? See Image] for the first along Couch Lane.

Hospital for animals
A row of buildings in Couch Lane with the just-readable painted words on them. Presumably there was some form of veterinary help here in the past. A plaque simply remarks that in the Middle Ages most people would have been involved with agriculture and animal rearing. See Image] for the next door sign.
