Sewer vent column, Denmark Road/North Street
Sewer vent column in Denmark Road by its junction with North Street, one of at least 31 such columns in the old Carshalton UDC area (see description below - this is no 8 on the map). The 'Railway Tavern', Carshalton, Surrey
On the corner of Camden Road and North Street. The pub. sign displays a 'Lord Nelson' 4-6-0 locomotive which could well have worked through Carshalton in its day.
