This was the site of what had originally been Merton Sixth Form College, later the Phoenix College and latterly part of Merton College. It is planned to be a "ZED" (zero emissions development) residential area.

The Wyvern Youth Centre, Arras Avenue
This youth centre had originally been the hall of the adjacent St Francis Church. The church closed in 1962 and was demolished but the hall survived. It was part of the "Twenty Five churches" inter-war building campaign of Southwark Diocese, and more details of its history can be found in Richardson's book on the subject.

St George's church, Central Road, Morden
This church was built in 1932 on the St Helier Estate. The adjacent wooden hut Image served as the church initially but subsequently, the roles of the two buildings were reversed.
