Sutherland House, Sutton
Sutton has a cluster of tallish office blocks in this area, most of which seem to have been designed by Robert J. Wood and Partners, and most of which currently appear to be empty and/or awaiting redevelopment. This one, on Brighton Road, dates from 1961-66. Just behind it is Quadrant House (1979-80, by Brewer, Smith and Brewer), an exception to both the above statements.

London RT bus on route 164A at Sutton Station
Many of London's bus routes penetrated into the surrounding countryside and the 164A ran from Morden Underground Station via Sutton and Banstead to Tattenham Corner, terminating close to the famous race course. There have been many changes over the past 33 years since this photo was taken. The bus is RT 3986.

Mulgrave Road, Sutton
My best friend at school lived in a flat over the shops at Mulgrave Court, on the right. Mulgrave Chambers, the offices in the foreground, certainly weren't there then.
