Marlow railway station (1)
The Great Marlow Railway opened their branch line to Marlow from Bourne End in 1873. In 2007 the railway still functions with an hourly service to Maidenhead, but the station structure is minimalist in the extreme. The original station building was demolished around 1968 and the location of the station was moved here to the area of the former sidings. The replacement station building has now also gone and the only cusutomer facility is the open sided shelter visible at the end of the platform. See Image for a view down the tracks in the opposite direction.
