Marlow Baptist Church, Glade Road, Marlow, Bucks
The church describes itself as "We are a small, friendly evangelical Baptist Church situated near to Marlow Railway Station." To an outside observer it would appear to be more evangelical in emphasis than Baptist. It is not affiliated to the Baptist Union but is linked with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical churches (FIEC) - which is a network of over 500 similar churches in the country.

The Marlow Donkey (1), Station Road, Marlow, Bucks
Large Greene King public house near the railway station. It has a large garden and a conservatory. It serves lunchtime and evening meals. It was refurbished in May 2015.

The Marlow Donkey (2) - sign, Station Road, Marlow, Bucks
Marlow lies at the end of a branch railway line, which it has been fortunate to retain. The station is near to the pub, and in the days of steam the service was affectionately known as the Marlow Donkey. Today it is operated by diesel multiple units. The engine and carriage shown on this sign can be seen in a black & white photograph by John Bristow taken on the 11th February 1962. Image Judging by the similarities between the two, especially the person with their head out of a window, the sign appears to be based on the photo but with the addition of colour and impressive clouds.
