Ad hoc anti-'traveller' barrier, North Town Moor
This heap of asphalt was dumped by the council to prevent access by wheeled vehicles after an incident of 'travellers' moving on to the site. Many of the commons around Maidenhead and Cookham have rather more discrete barriers for a similar purpose.
