The Hinds Head, Bray
The Hinds Head public house, Bray. The building dates from the 15th century and may once have been a hunting lodge, or Abbot'a guesthouse. More recently its claim to fame is its ownership by Heston Blumenthal (the chef) and being the location for the Duke of Edinburgh's bachelor party prior to his marriage to Princess Elizabeth.

Bray: The Lich Gate
The Lich Gate is under the cottage to the left and leads to St Michael's Church. There is a plaque on the internal wall of the gate which states "Lich Gate A.D. 1448". (NB There is a charitable organization that manages the gate entitled "The Bray Lich Gate Trust" and in deference I have used their spelling and that on the plaque rather than the more commonly used lych gate.)
