Thames Valley Police - Maidenhead South Neighbourhood

Through the resident surveys and recent police incidents, concerns have been raised over ASB, drug-related activity and thefts from local stores on WESSEX WAY and immediate surrounding areas.

We will continue to patrol this area and publish results.

03/10/25: Five males were arrested following an incident at The Co-op, COX GREEN LANE. This matter is subject to a joint investigation between TVP and the Metropolitan Police.

18/11/25: Proactive patrols have commenced in this area.

Through the resident surveys and recent police incidents, concerns have been raised over ASB and drug-related activity continuing on BRUNEL CLOSE and THE GULLET nature reserve.

Following a recent Full Closure Order (FCO) in the BRUNEL CLOSE area, we continue to enforce the FCO, and ensure related issues are challenged robustly. The South team are also working with Housing Solutions to make improvements to the area where possible.

10/10/25: A Community Protection Warning was issued to a male linked to ASB and nuisance causing in the areas of the GULLET and BRUNEL CLOSE.

24/10/25: The local team are liaising with Housing Solutions re the extension of the Full Closure Order (FCO) in BRUNEL CLOSE.

11/11/2025: An extension to the existing FCO is now in the consultation phase with residents and an application will be made before the court on 19/11/25.

11/11/2025: A separate Partial Closure Order is being considered for an unrelated address in the area and a resident survey will soon be conducted.

18/11/25: An application has been made to extend the FCO at Brunel Close. This will be heard at 10:00 hours on 19/11/25 at Reading Mags Court. Housing Solutions are assisting with this application.

19/11/25: The FCO at Brunel Close is extended by the court for a further 3 months.

29/11/25: a male linked to ASB in The Gullet and Brunel Close has been charged and remanded for a burglary that occurred at a retail premises in Maidenhead Town Centre.

Through the resident surveys and recent police incidents, concerns have been raised over ASB and drug-related activity in the area of GREENFIELDS, ALPINE CLOSE and the children's play area.

Following a recent patrol, a man has been reported for summons in relation to possessing and using cannabis in the children's play area.

03/10/25: The NHPT attended the location, engaged with residents, and conducted an ASB survey encompassing the entire residential area. The team is currently awaiting feedback from residents.

24/10/25: The responses from the NH survey have been reviewed and our team are making contact with residents re information provided. One male has been arrested in connection with an incident in the area relating to ASB.

11/11/25: Proactive patrols have begun in this area following the resident survey.

29/01/2026: High visibility patrols of the car parks - No signs of ASB or drug-related activity observed.

Burglary

Through the resident surveys and recent police incidents, concerns have been raised over Burglary, including vehicles stolen.

Proactive patrols in the following high-demand areas will be conducted by the Neighbourhood Police team:

Broadwater Park

02/03/2026: The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has restricted the operational floors of the Stafferton Way car park to the ground level only. Patrols will continue in the vicinity, and this measure has contributed to a reduction in reported incidents.

Speeding

Through the resident surveys and recent police incidents, concerns have been raised over speeding.

Regular speeding operations will be conducted in the following areas;

> Lowbrook Drive
> Altwood Road
> Mercia Road
> Larchfield Road
> Bartletts Lane
> Harvest Hill Road
> Willow Drive
> Haddon Road
> Chiltern Road
> Boyn Hill Close

School patrols will be conducted during pick up/drop off times at Haddon Road and Lowbrook Drive due to speeding concerns from residents.

This will run until 01/06/26

As of 5th of July we have 3 partial or full closure orders on addresses. These have either been extended to allow for housing services to evict or continue to work with the home owners to prevent further ASB.

After a TV Alerts Survey a large number of residents in Maidenhead South have stated that Speeding, E-Bike and E-scooter use around school start and finish times are a priority issue.

Moneyrow Green

We will be looking to complete high visibility deployments around school times in due course under Operation Pulse.

We know this is a wide spread issue and the shops in our residential communities deserve our support. We will work with our main stores that service our communities to prevent crime and tackle offenders

Through reporting statistics we are aware of three stores we will be looking to engage further with and work to reduce shoplifting and retail crime.

08/08/2026: Both PC's and PCSO's have been patrolling the open spaces and area mentioned especially around the Brunel Close area during the evenings.
A new closer order has been completed in Homeside Close in order to reduce ASB and drug use. July has been an extremely busy month in regards to demand but we look forward to completing further work in these areas.

08/08/2026 - We are looking to organise Op Pulse E-bike and E-scooter operations over the next week and will update TV alerts and Facebook with the results.
