Ascot Race Course
The Three Castles crossing point with the rails which allow a movable infil to complete the course on race days. The green flaps have grass on their upper surfaces to give an invisible join. See Image to see the trolley that is wheeled into place on race days.

Reservoir on Ascot Race Course
The race track itself is sort of triangle shaped, with a large area of grass and heathland in the middle.
There are a couple of reservoirs as well, presumably to hold irrigation water for keeping the course green in dry weather.

Ascot Race Course
The section of the course on a trolley which is moved along the rails to provide an infil where the Three Castles Path crosses the course. A clever solution to prevent numerous feet from damaging the racing surface. See Image to see the cut out in the course.
