St Michael Sunninghill
The family tomb of Thomas Holloway. He built Royal Holloway College at Egham for the University of London, and Holloway Sanatorium at Virginia Water. He lived at Tittenhurst Park Sunninghill (subsequently occupied by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in the 1970s). The extension to the church (paler brickwork) was built in his honour after his death.

Church of St Michael and All Angels, Sunninghill
The church was built between 1808 and 1827 (incorporating a Norman doorway from the previous church) with the chancel and south chapel added in 1888 by W.H. Crossland (architect of Royal Holloway College), all in yellow brick.

Beside the church, in the left of the photo, there is a hollow ancient yew said to be over 1000 years old. It has an iron girdle holding it together just above head height.
