St Mary, Winkfield: churchyard (b)
The large memorial is to Sir Francis Hugh George Hercy (14 May 1868-13 February 1947). A native of Winkfield he served with distinction in the First World War
Career. He was awarded the CBE in 1918 and was knighted in 1921: Obituary- The Times (London, England), Saturday, Feb 15, 1947; pg. 4; Issue 50686

Winkfield War Memorial
The War memorial and lych gate to St Mary's Church on the north side of Church Road. This is one of the grandest church entrances that I have come across in the local area.
