Burnham railway station, Berkshire
Opened in 1899 as "Burnham Beeches" by the Great Western Railway on its line from London Paddington to Reading, the name was changed to "Burnham (Bucks)" in 1930 and plain "Burnham" in 1975. Whilst the town is in Buckinghamshire, the station has been in Berkshire since 1974. View east towards Slough and London, 4 years after the line was electrified. Compare with Image taken from a similar viewpoint some 60 years earlier. Also with the more recent Image taken looking in the opposite direction.
