The view from Ridge Quarry
This is marked as a viewpoint on the OS map, and there is a car park for it. However, while you can see into the Goyt valley, there has been so much growth of foliage that much of the view of the valley is obscured.

Hollinwood Lane
Hollinwood Lane is a minor road linking Strines Road and Ridge End via Plucksbridge Road across the Peak Forest Canal. Below the houses on the left, the road is closed to motor traffic, and more characteristic of an enclosed path.
