From Mill Lane Bridge
The railway line was once part of a busy route from Woodley through Stockport (Tiviot Dale) to points West. Now it leads only to an industrial site at Bredbury.

Commencement of Single Line
To the west of the Mill Lane bridge Image there are still two lines. The line was once part of a busy route from Woodley through Stockport (Tiviot Dale) beyond to Fiddler's Ferry. Now it leads only to an industrial site at Bredbury. On the east side Image to where it joins the main line through Woodley there is just a single line.

The charity shop off Woodley Precinct supports the Beechwood cancer care centre in Stockport. http://www.beechwoodcancercare.co.uk/ Next door the former dry cleaners is now a tattoo parlour. The Iceland store was previously a Co-op and before that a KwikSave.
