The railway line was once part of a busy route from Woodley through Stockport (Tiviot Dale) to points West. Now it leads only to an industrial site at Bredbury. Viewed here from the Mill Lane bridge. On the right is the Woodley Shopping Centre and in the distance is Werneth Low.
