Heaton Chapel Station
A Sprinter DMU (diesel multiple unit) train heads north towards Manchester from Heaton Chapel Station.
The station serves the areas of Heaton Chapel and Heaton Moor (up until 1974, it was called Heaton Chapel & Heaton Moor Station). It is on the line between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport, approximately four and a half miles from Manchester.

Bridge over the West Coast Mainline, Heaton Chapel
Taken from the west side of the railway looking north east. The road in the foreground is Buckingham Road, which used to cross the railway at this point on its way to Wellington Road North. But now the bridge is for pedestrian use only.
