Great War Memorial, Heaton Moor
Heaton Moor Great War Memorial, erected in 1921, stands outside the Parish Church of St Paul. The memorial comprises of a bronze statue of soldier in battle dress carrying rifle on stone pedestal which includes the principal inscriptions and bronze panels recording the names of the dead. It is backed by semi-circular ashlar wall. The statue is by Manchester sculptor John Cassidy.
