Heaton Moor Great War Memorial, erected in 1921, stands outside the Parish Church of St Paul. The memorial comprises of a bronze statue of soldier in battle dress carrying rifle, standing on stone pedestal which includes the principal inscriptions and bronze panels recording the names of the dead. The statue is by Manchester sculptor John Cassidy.
