Old Milepost by the former A6, Main Road, Taddington
Cast iron post by the UC road (was A6), in parish of TADDINGTON (DERBYSHIRE DALES District), Main Road; Taddington village, near main bus stop, in tarmac path in front of stone wall beside house, on South side of road. Matlock iron bobbin, erected by the Ashford & Buxton turnpike trust in the 19th century.

The old butchers
Another village shop now shut,the grey rail above the shop window curves through a niche in the door frame and continues into the shop,this was used for transporting the carcasses of meat inside.
