Cast iron post by the UC road (was A6), in parish of TADDINGTON (DERBYSHIRE DALES District), Main Road; Taddington village, near main bus stop, in tarmac path in front of stone wall beside house, on South side of road. Matlock iron bobbin, erected by the Ashford & Buxton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : BUXTON / 6 : : LONDON / 157 : : BAKEWELL / 5½ : Grade II Listed.
