Holy Trinity Church, Peak Dale, now disused
A notice on the door, from the Minister and Church Wardens, indicates that they are applying to the Concistory Court of the Diocese of Derby for permission to dispose of fixtures and fittings , and move the altar to St Paul's, Dove Holes,two wall mounted war memorials and lectern to Peak Dale Methodist Church, and three small items of plate to St Margaret of Antioch, Wormhill.

Peak Dale: phone box at Upper End
A traditional red phone box interrupts the wall of the little green alongside Upper End Road. The war memorial can just be seen behind the box, partially obscured by the tree.

At Holy Trinity Church, Peak Dale
The carving on the foundation stone refers to the day it was laid in 1885 when Captain William Sidebottom of Harewood Lodge, Broadbottom proudly raised his trowel. Now the church is disused and up for sale.
