Crowdicote
Looking down the main street of this picturesque hamlet on a warm day in mid June. This unusual place name is likely to be of Saxon origin and is frequently referred to using the alternative spelling 'Crowdecote'. The gable-end and car park of the Packhorse public house are visible behind the whitewashed cottages.
