Mottram Old Road
Mottram Old Road with Sycamore Cottage on the left hand side. Hyde Cenotaph can be seen on the horizon built in remembrance of men of Hyde whose lives were lost in the Great War, a war being played out exactly 100 years ago. Would any of those men remember this lovely autumn view before the need for a cenotaph?

Sycamore Cottage
Standing on Mottram Old Road the recently renovated Sycamore Cottage looks completely different from the old smaller cottage that had stood here for many years. In the background you can see Werneth Low with the Hyde cenotaph at its summit.
