Zeenath and Cash Converter
From the end of Long Meadow Passage looking across Market Street to Port Street. On the left is "Zeenath", a long-established household hardware and fancy goods shop selling all manner of small electrical and domestic items. On the right is what used to be the showroom of MG Domestic. They moved to larger premises further up Market Street some years ago. Now "Cash Converters" have moved in.

Shops on Market Street
Google Streetview imagery dated 2011 shows the shop between Bennett's Staff Bureau and Zeenath's (two long established businesses) as "The Jewellery Bar" but by 2012 it was Stin-Arch Ventures Image (a mobile-phone shop). By 2013 it had changed to Muscle Freaks Image but by 2014 it had closed again and part of the old frontage of an earlier business "The Boutique" Image was visible. Now it has opened up as "Bow & Bells" Image

Vape 365
The shop between Bennett's Staff Bureau and Zeenath's (two long established businesses) was "The Jewellery Bar" in 2011 but by 2012 it was Stin-Arch Ventures Image (a mobile-phone shop). By 2013 it had changed to Muscle Freaks Image but by 2014 it had closed again and part of the old frontage of an earlier business "The Boutique" Image was visible. In May 2015 it opened up briefly as "Bow & Bells" Image but in October 2015 it became the Strawberry Beret Dress Agency Image who had previously operated from the Inside Market Image They have now moved to a property higher up Market Street Image Although their sign is still up the shop itself has been taken over by Vape 365.
