Old Milepost by the A6, Buxton Road West, Disley
Cast iron post by the A6, in parish of Disley (Macclesfield District), Buxton Road West, in tarmac path in front of low brick wall, on South West side of road. Cast iron CCC1898, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.

Holiday 'cottage' at Brookside Farm
Now fallen somewhat into disrepair, these 'summer residences' lie scattered about farmland dating from the 1920/30s before the advent of Town & Country Planning. Some are still in use and were seemingly set up on long leases. Some are slowly disintegrating through lack of use and maintenance.
