Merseyway works
The centre of Merseyway is undergoing extensive works. Shoppers are being forced to walk around one side or the other. At least the benches have been outside the hoardings. On the hoardings are various posters about how the shops are remaining accessible and showing impressions of how marvellous Stockport will look once all the various works have been completed. This view is from the end of Adlington Walk.

Such bins are found throughout the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, but this particular one is by the Merseyway shopping mall. Behind is a Topshop store.
