Northern Chamber Orchestra concert, Heritage Centre Macclesfield
The Heritage Centre started life as the Roe Street Sunday School built by private subscription and opened in 1814. Nowadays the large hall is used for concerts and as a cinema for public performances and for a film club. Other parts of the building house part of the Macclesfield Silk museum and a cafe/restaurant.

Former library for sale
Once the Macclesfield Free Library, (1876), with the motto "In candore decus", meaning "Honour in sincerity", the motto of the Chadick family. The building was more recently Registrar Offices. The Chadwick Free Library, on Park Green, was presented to the corporation in 1876 by Mr D.
