Sheep at Sych House Farm, Bollington
The sheep are in a field to the west of the Middlewood Way on the southern edge of the town. The houses in the photo are a small modern development called Hill View.

The designers of the Middlewood Way trail have gone to great lengths here to ensure step-free access with a five-section ziz-zag wooden ramp.

Middlewood Way south of Bollington
Looking north towards bridge no. 4 and Bollington beyond. This is a former railway line, closed in 1970, and now a walking/cycle trail. It is better illuminated than some of its kind.
