Royston High Street
Now largely pedestrianised, the high street still retains many old buildings. The shoe shop, Howorths, that the gentleman in the photo is passing would appear to have shut down recently.

Old Warehouse on Jepps Lane
Located at the northwest end of a triangular space created by the confluence of Fish Hill and Market Hill. Royston seems to have had fame in the past for its malt and grain, and it is reasonable to assume that this building was associated with that trade.
